Cyclops is an evolution (no pun intended) of my latest project, Emilio.
I wanted to push forward what I learned from that Fortiche / Marvel Rivals stylized rendering as well as getting out of my comfort zone, by tackling something that I never modeled before, a guy.

🎨The textures (made in Substance Painter) allow for a hybrid PBR / Cell-Shade look.

🎮Rigged and skinned, ready for games and animation.

🧊Albeit hand-painted characters don't need 30K polys, Cyclops uses a hybrid rendering technic involving PBR, so that extra geometry was needed to avoid artifacts / smooth surfaces.

🪮The hair cards were made in Blender with curves, later converted to geo, and hand painted in Photoshop and Substance Painter.

🖌️The hand painted diffuse map allows for a fully cell-shade rendering.
